Job Description
The Strategic Accounts Representative works in our Strategic Accounts group and partners directly with our customers to provide direct assistance with any Towing and Storage for the inventory of vehicles.
The Strategic Accounts Rep will work onsite with our Client in their Greater Toronto Location.
Responsibilities
- Work collectively with Impact and insurance client to get vehicles released from storage facilities.
- Must be assertive and proactive in handling of files to minimize storage costs for insurance clients and achieve targets.
- Review and manage problem files escalated from Impact in a timely manner.
- Work independently in resolving issues by accessing insurance client’s claims system to gather pertinent details needed for resolution.
- Ability to quickly resolve releasing issues and negotiate towing/storage charges.
- Communicate directly with Insureds and shops to secure release of vehicles.
- Interact with adjusters on problem files when needed.
- Accurately input detailed information onto call logs and/or files.
- Complete timely follow up calls to meet deadlines.
- Required to work off-site at insurance client’s facilities.
Qualifications
- University Degree or minimum post-secondary education.
- 1-2 years’ experience in auto claims industry.
- Good understanding of the claims process.
- Experience in dealing with storage facilities.
- Strong negotiation and time management skills.
- The tenacity and drive to work a problem interaction through to successful resolution.
- Sound knowledge of telephone etiquette with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, pleasant and professional manner.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
