Description
The Account Manager (AM) plays a critical role in managing key customer accounts, providing high level service, and adding new accounts. The AM works on the Rouse Appraisals account team under the BDM to execute our business growth strategy. They also need to partner with analyst and projects teams to scope, capture, and prepare appraisal opportunities. The account manager will focus on a specific sector / client profile within the banking capital market, equipment finance, turnaround management, and heavy equipment sector. They will be responsible for providing a high level of service and growing appraisal revenue.
Qualifications
- 3 plus years experience in finance / banking / valuation+appraisals.
- 1 plus years as sales leader.
- Experience with heavy equipment and the construction and banking sectors would be an upside.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, modeling and presentation skills.
- Represent Rouse at tradeshows, conference, and local market events.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) and professionalism to deal with bankers and investors.
- Proactive attitude to build client relationships and strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
- Strong presentation, strategic thinking, negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to establish themselves as market expert and build credibility.
- Intermediate skills in working with Salesforce, Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

Responsibilities
- Manage ~200+ customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate appraisals are delivered and upsell and cross-sell other service opportunities.
- Leverage CRM and sales tools (Salesforce / seamless.ai) to effectively propect, track, target and add additional accounts.
- Attend recurring conferences and local events to expand brand presence and build / maintain customer relationships.
- Utilize market transactional database to develop compelling market material and modeling for customer needs.
- Execute market and industry research to understand and communicate key trends impacting various equipment types tracked.
- Conduct ‘ballpark’ valuation exercises on inbound requests to facilitate appraisal opportunity.
- Confidently price, quote and negotiate project opportunities.
- Understand enterprise business offering and value propositions.
- Establish credibility as trusted advisor and market expert with banks, investors and equipment owners.
- Deliver and review completed appraisal work with customers.
- Maintain and update CRM system to ensure full tracking of opportunities and customer interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
