Description
The Opportunity
You will generate and qualify sales opportunities in the heavy equipment auction space through a combination of inbound lead engagement and targeted outbound prospecting. Acting as the bridge between marketing and sales, you will respond quickly to interested prospects, understand their equipment needs, and pass qualified opportunities to Territory Managers or other sales team members.
The successful candidate is highly motivated, goal-oriented, and confident initiating meaningful conversations, with equal comfort handling warm inbound leads and proactive outbound outreach.
What you’ll do
- Outbound prospecting: Execute targeted cold calling, email, and social outreach to generate new leads and re-engage dormant customers.
- Inbound follow-up: Respond quickly to inbound inquiries and convert marketing-qualified leads into active opportunities.
- Lead qualification: Assess prospect needs, determine sales readiness, and route qualified leads to Territory Managers.
- Data management: Maintain accurate and timely CRM records of all interactions, lead status updates, and customer details.
- Sales collaboration: Partner closely with Territory Managers to ensure smooth and well-informed lead handovers.
- Pipeline & performance: Build a strong pipeline while consistently meeting response time, conversion, and activity KPIs.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business or a related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development.
- Proven experience with outbound prospecting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Basic understanding of the heavy equipment or auction industry is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Italian + an additional European language is required.
