Oracle QA Analyst (Contractor)

Working with an Agile team of analysts and developers you will be responsible for validating that all changes to the Oracle ERP applications meet the requirements of the business. Ritchie Bros has a large implementation of Oracle ERP including a mix of both on-premise and Cloud modules. This system is also highly integrated with several key applications within the Ritchie Bros IT landscape. The Oracle QA Analyst will build and execute a suite of test cases to validate the system design.

Responsabilités

In this role you’ll: 

• Work with Functional and Business Analysts to understand the requirements and objectives; 
• Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts;
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing;
• Capture testing results and log issues/defects;
• Work with Analysts and Application Developers to clarify issues and defects;
• Verify defect resolutions through re-tests;

Qualifications

Here’s what you bring:

• Minimum 5 years of experience testing enterprise applications and application integrations.
• Good understanding of contemporary systems, development methodologies and tools in a large corporate setting. 
• Experience building automated tests for enterprise applications and system integrations using tools such as UFT, Selenium, SOAP UI or similar.
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. 
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. 
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed. 
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
