Description du poste

A Senior Product Designer plays a strategic role in driving the design direction for complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. They provide leadership and mentorship within the design team, influence product strategy, and facilitate high-level brainstorming sessions. Senior designers have a deep understanding of user-centered design, and make strategic decisions on information architecture. They work independently, set high standards, and lead complex projects to successful completion.

Responsabilités

  • Leads and drives the design strategy for complex projects and products.
  • Provides strong mentorship and leadership within the design team.
  • Identify research needs and opportunities, to help inform user's needs and product enhancement. Plan and conduct user research and usability testing, to inform or validate design decisions. 
  • Plans and facilitates design brainstorming sessions and collaborates effectively with business stakeholders and execution teams.
  • Influences and contributes to product strategy based on a deep understanding of user needs.
  • Acts as a key liaison between the design team and other departments, driving the design vision across the organization. Proactively seeks input from various stakeholders, and executive teams gathering diverse perspectives to inform design decisions.
  • Develops and implements complex design systems and frameworks that support user stories, journeys, and business requirements into scalable, cohesive user experiences across multiple platforms.
  • Experience building, and implementing design systems
  • Defines and tracks comprehensive metrics to validate design solutions' success.
  • Makes strategic decisions on information architecture
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate designers, and spreading design awareness throughout an org
  • Set a high standard for design quality and work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product design with a proven track record.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of design principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Shows advanced problem-solving abilities and innovation in design solutions.
  • Possesses a robust portfolio with significant projects showcasing leadership and impact.
