IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company, is seeking a Global Market Development Specialist, to support our Latin America & Emerging Markets. This role will ideally work in a hybrid capacity out of our Corporate Headquarters in Westchester, IL but are open to remote work. 

The Market Development Specialist will focus on managing the relationship with Market Alliances and top assigned accounts to expand business within an assigned territory by adding bidders and increasing revenue of these accounts. This role will require travel to select countries at appropriate times to instruct, inform, participate in, and communicate with current and prospective customers at seminars, trade shows, and other industry events. This position reports to the Global Market Development Manager.

Responsabilités

  • Build and maintain strong brand trust in designated markets to meet and exceed IAA’s buyer growth and retention goals
  • Set up regularly occurring check-ins and complete Quarterly Business Reviews with larger accounts within accounts included in Book of Business to review performance and identify opportunities and strategies to strengthen engagement with IAA
  • Establish Project Based Initiatives (PBI’s) with Market Alliances and other Assigned Accounts to promote growth and improve buyer satisfaction 
  • Perform data analysis to evaluate performance of assigned accounts and identify what countries and accounts should be focused on within assigned territory
  • Provide insight to customers regarding market conditions and trends within the country to promote growth
  • Establish strategic relationships with buyers in new and existing markets and provide superior customer service
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Buyer Development team and other cross functional teams 
  • Plan, organize, and attend in-country seminars/conferences/major events to build IAA brand awareness and attract new buyers
  • Create, translate and/or review content as needed for country-specific promotional literature, presentation material, and advertising campaigns
  • Use customer feedback and data to generate ideas for new features, products, and services

Qualifications

Competencies:

  • 5 or more years of market development experience including commercial growth
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish required 
  • Great oral and written communication skills
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Proven experience in identifying leads and target audiences and developing campaigns to engage, educate and motivate
  • Exhibits great collaboration skills, with a willingness to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change and work on multiple deliverables autonomously
  • Capable of making decisions when customer problems and/or opportunities arise
  • Understands IAA’s Customer Care Values and practices them daily
  • Capable of meeting and/or exceeding growth and retention goals
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products
  • Supports a hybrid model of remote and in-office time
  • Willing to travel 30% for work purposes 

     

Additional Information:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in insurance or the Automotive Industry a plus!

 

The expected compensation range for this role starts at $65,000; Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographical location, etc. This role also qualifies for up to 5% of their annual salary in an incentive performance bonus.
