Description du poste
The role of Director, Operations involves leading and overseeing initiatives to enhance DDI organizational efficiency, streamline its operations, and to drive adoption of continuous improvement initiatives. This senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of strategic business plans, creation of annual operating plans aligned with organizational goals, and providing strategic direction to teams across the DDI organization.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the Director, Operations will also assume a leadership position with the efforts to integrate DDI’s systems, processes, and services across the RB Global enterprise.
Responsabilités
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for process improvement initiatives, aligning them with the organization's overall goals and objectives
Process Optimization: Lead efforts to identify, analyze, and optimize key business processes across departments, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
Change Management: Implement change management strategies to drive the adoption of new processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
Leadership: Provide strong leadership to a team of service delivery professionals, guiding them in the development and execution of improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with leaders and teams across different departments to understand their processes, identify pain points, and implement solutions that benefit the entire RBA enterprise.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of service delivery teams
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with select vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with process improvement initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and minimal disruptions
Budget Oversight: Manage the budget associated with teams under management, ensuring effective resource allocation
Assist in developing improved methodology to analyze and present data to clients, including presentations, standard reporting, internal scorecards, etc.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of existing and emerging trends within the retail automotive lending and related legislative marketplace to support business strategy development.
Assist in responding to provider RFPs and proposals.
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience in the automotive retail industry, and a keen understanding of the automotive title and registration life cycles required
Critical thinking ability and a focus on progressive, results driven solutions
Ability to thrive in an ever-changing industry, comfortable with ambiguity
Strong aptitude to influence change
Consultative, customer focused personality with a propensity for building lasting relationships
Ten plus years of automotive industry experience preferred
Travel as required.
