Description du poste

  • Senior Financial Operations is responsible for ensuring that correct amounts of payments are made on time to Sellers and or Lienholders. Responsible for working closely with the appropriate teams to ensure payments are not delayed and prepares and publishes seller statements and payments. Responsible for preparing payments for release and approval via electronic fund transfers (EFT) batches, check and wire preparations, including manual check invoices. Responsibilities include month-end working papers and reports, account balancing, and reconciliation of assigned accounts. Accountable for following up on unreconciled items and weekly reporting of delayed payments or those that may potentially be delayed.

Responsabilités

  • Reviews, verifies and processes consignment files to create settlement statements and issue accurate payment for consignments in accordance with the company’s contractual obligations.
  • Perform daily reconcilement of high-volume accounts via the usage of automated reconciliation software and internal database information within required timelines as set out in the policies and procedures.
  • Accountable for documenting data, identifying reconciliation items and initiating actions to have the items cleared and approved by the relevant operational departments.
  • Process check runs, electronic funds transfers and wire payments to seller, lien holders and suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for follow up and clarification and/or approval on any discrepancies or inaccuracies on settlement statements.
  • Works on various projects within the Financial Operations team to meet company financial goals and strategies.
  • Manage work volumes and set daily priorities for self.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in business and or working with data.
  • Capable of working with new technology and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong analytically anchored problem-solving skills.
  • Typical Business office Environment
