IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company, is seeking a Associate Product Manager to join our team.

The Associate Product Manager working under the Direction of the Group Product Manager assist the product team as well as stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements while working closely with design, engineering, and product to ensure a unified experience for the customers. There are many key facets – account, browse / discovery, homepage, search, bid / buy, checkout, and many more – that all must work together to deliver the best buyer experience, while achieving key business goals. This role will assist in the research of industry-leading practices and innovation to help drive a part of this experience.
 

Responsibilities for Candidates

  • Assist in defining product strategy with within the team to create a compelling vision to make the client experience is efficient and intuitive while achieving key business goals.
  • Create User Stories to capture solution/ features requirements and instruct development teams to understand the needs of the client.
  • Under the direction of the Product Manager, helps to evaluate user experience, based on industry trends and competitor landscapes, through conversations with the customer, data analysis and metrics.
  • In conjunction with the team helps clarify the strategy in ambiguous areas and obtains group by-in with clear and logical rationale that is in line with product area strategy and is easy to consume
  • Helps facilitate proposed product changes or enhancements for compliance and alignment with desired user experience design and satisfaction standards and suggests improvements
  • Communicates with the team, product leadership, and key stakeholders as necessary.
  • Actively ensures their product team is aligned and engaged.
  • Supports the consistent, reliable ownership of the problem through to the solution within and across teams, peers, and partners.
  • Identifies risks and issues, and proactively helps to find solutions.
  • May lead projects under guidance
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications for Candidates

  • At least 1-year related experience
  • Prior experience as a product manager or junior/associate product manager preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies preferred
  • Working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
