We’re looking for a hands-on, organized, and customer-focused Office Operations Manager to lead our Meppen office.

The opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager (ROM), you will oversee the day-to-day administrative, customer service, and sales support functions. You will lead a motivated team of Customer Service and Sales Support professionals, ensuring exceptional service delivery, efficient operations, and strict adherence to company policies and procedures. More specifically you’ll: 

  • Lead and develop the Customer Service and Sales Support team to ensure operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate your team to perform at their best and uphold a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
  • Oversee all customer service and sales support activities before, during, and after auctions, ensuring every process runs smoothly and accurately.
  • Manage site administration and financial tasks, including payments, accounts receivable, supplier coordination, and tax exemption approvals.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations to keep communication clear and processes aligned.
  • Plan and organize auction preparations, ensuring the site is ready for seamless sale day operations.
  • Hire, schedule, and manage part-time and visiting staff to support busy auction periods.
  • Monitor performance metrics and look for opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.

You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a customer service, sales support, or operations role within a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional level of English and German is mandatory

It’s important to note that:

  • You'll maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. 
  • This is not an “8:00AM to 5:00PM” job. As an event-driven company, overtime is a major part of what we do.
