Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to work within our buyer-facing digital automotive marketplace. This role owns the end-to-end buyer experience, enabling customers to search, evaluate, and purchase vehicles online. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with a deep understanding of user behavior and online merchandising. Working cross-functionally with our engineering, design and marketing teams the Product Manager will drive improvements in search, SEO, and overall engagement, shaping the strategic direction of our marketplace and ensuring a seamless, data-informed buyer journey.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or similar secondary education.
Experience: 5+ years experience in product management or product development roles and successfully driving results.
Strong interpersonal skills required to clearly articulate business requirements and value to internal and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
Job Objectives:
- A strong advocate for the customer and product by using data to drive decisions while being obsessed with solving problems effectively. This includes using perspective from both customers and business to meet business and financial objectives.
- Engages with customer, team and the wider organization to show ongoing product value and success.
- Is sensitive to rapidly evolving issues that arise among products and platforms (both within the business unit and between multiple business units) in a way that balances product and enterprise goals.
- Engages business units and enterprise management on resolving trade-offs of scope, priority, business and technical risk, and business impact of dependencies among multiple products.
- Embeds with product teams as needed to ensure full transparency and no surprises, keeping product stakeholders up to date with the latest on delivery status, product risks, and scope changes.
- Leverage AI/ML capabilities to enhance search, recommendations, personalization, and merchandising, ensuring a more intuitive and engaging buyer journey.
- Monitor and analyze product performance using Google Analytics, experimentation tools, and other analytics platforms, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Guide product enhancements to deliver meaningful business value.
- Identify new opportunities that positively impact the buyer facing applications.
- Create and maintain feature planning documents, product backlogs and user stories.
- Lead the efforts to prioritize development team activities.
- Is obsessed with product quality, staying deeply immersed in product deliverables and releases
- Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure the successful implementation of features and enhancements that deliver value and achieve RB Global business objectives.
