Description
- The Senior Financial Analyst leads month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing for various RBGlobal entities. The Senior Financial Analyst will carry out accurate and timely financial reporting while working with various stakeholders in the organization to obtain insight to execute on deliverables. This role will be expected to contribute and support key initiatives including standardization and process improvements. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key player in implementing Inventory Management practices and reviewing complex contracts to ensure compliance with SOX and accounting standards. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a leader in the Financial Control Team and must be a proactive planner and agile to shifting priorities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Financial Analyst experience.
- 3+ years of Senior Financial Analyst experience.
- Tactical and timely decision making
- Strategic problem solving.
- Good Interpersonal skills.
- Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written.
- Typical Business Office Environment
Responsibilities
- Performs as a key player in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end process for multiple US / EMEA / APAC entities.
- Responsible for completing complex inventory reconciliations and accounting.
- Institutes Inventory Management practices and reviews complex contracts to ensure compliance with SOX and accounting standards.
- Ensures accurate and timely financial reporting while working with various stakeholders in the organization to obtain insight to execute on deliverables.
- Drives the review of Corporate Accounting Policies and performs Accounting Technical Research.
- Develops key initiatives including standardization and process improvements.
- Prepares and comments on the Balance Sheet and Net Income Statements.
- Prepare variance analysis – P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Complete monthly account reconciliations and compliance reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
