Description

The Oracle HCM Technical Consultant role requires hands-on technical expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud technical components, a deep understanding of HR business processes and workflows, and proficiency in various HCM technical capabilities, including but not limited to OTBI, BIP reports, HCM Extracts, outbound and inbound integrations through OIC and FTP connections, Fast Formula development, and other customizations such as VBCS.

This resource will be responsible for supporting the HR systems used by RB Global and continually looking for ways to improve our processes, data, policies, and standards. This role requires strong communication skills to keep the People team informed on the status of queries, issues, and concerns. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively with HR teams and payroll specialists and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud HCM technology, including Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Recruitment, Absences, and Time.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills, with experience in Oracle HCM reporting tools (BI, OTBI, and BIP), OIC integrations, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, and HCM Data Loader (HDL).
  • Experience with Oracle HCM AI capabilities, with the ability to identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved user experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, vendors, and IT teams across various time zones.
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours slightly earlier or later to accommodate EST/PST time zones and support business needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a typical corporate office environment.

Duration: 15–18 months (November/December 2026 – April 2028)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Oracle Cloud HCM applications, focusing on modules such as Core HR, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Recruitment, Payroll, Absences, and Time.
  • Troubleshoot, design, develop, and support Oracle HCM BI, OTBI, and BIP reports.
  • Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for Payroll, Time & Absence, Compensation, and other areas using complex business logic and regulatory requirements.
  • Design, develop, and support HCM Extracts.
  • Design, develop, and support Oracle HCM integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Develop and implement HCM data loading processes using HDL (HCM Data Loader), spreadsheet loaders, and automated data integration workflows to support employee onboarding, organizational changes, balance adjustments, and mass data updates.
  • Design, develop, and support Oracle HCM integrations, both inbound and outbound, with third-party and internal applications.
  • Collaborate with business owners, vendors, and IT teams to analyze and prioritize requirements, following the JIRA/CAB process for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate redundancies, improve data quality, and enhance overall system efficiency.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to support team discussions, projects, and initiatives across different time zones.
  • Create and maintain configuration and technical documentation for enhancements, bug fixes, integrations, and system changes.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and lead by example through strong performance, while taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Leverage Oracle HCM AI capabilities to identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, improved decision-making, and enhanced user experience.
