Description
- The Supervisor, Payroll implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
- The ideal candidate combines strong payroll expertise with leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage payroll processes in a fast-paced, international environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in Payroll Management.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills while collaborating with cross-functional departments.
- Experience supporting payroll in APAC is mandatory.
- Experience with Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or other enterprise HRIS/payroll systems is preferred.
- Must be able to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong prioritization skills by proactively managing day-to-day tasks, including balancing new assignments with an active inventory.
- Strategic thinking and foresight.
- Experience leading payroll transformation or system implementation projects is a strong asset.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced culture, changes in the environment, and shifts in priorities.
This is a hybrid role requiring employees to work 2–3 days per week from the office, with the remaining days worked remotely
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including inputting data.
- Answer employee questions regarding their benefit accruals.
- Prepare general entries.
- Monitor and verify tax deposits and returns.
- Audit payroll records.
- Calculate hours worked from timesheets, production records, or individual timecards.
- Input data to the payroll system, including employee name, days worked, overtime earnings if any, date, gross pay, deductions, required withholdings, and net earnings.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific payroll legislation, tax requirements, labor laws, and reporting obligations.
- Monitor payroll controls and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of paychecks.
- Other duties as assigned.
