Description

We are looking for an International Compensation & Benefits Business Partner to (remote) support our people department in Breda (NL).

You will manage operational issues and enquiries as well as strategic compensation and benefits projects for the entire EMEA / APAC region. We are looking for a Compensation and Benefits Partner with experience in global mobility, who knows how to get up and running fast.

You will have an operational focus, and we expect you to be a self-starter who presents us pragmatic ideas how to improve various C&B and mobility aspects and how to align with the organization, supporting departments and policies and is willing to take the lead during implementation. You will cooperate closely with the International People Business Partners, Payroll team and also the Global Total Rewards team, to provide services and solutions.

Day to day tasks also include:

  • Drive and execute country specific benefits changes as required by law or as outcome of market research.
  • Conduct analysis of existing benefits programs including focus on administrative processes; market competitiveness; internal equity and recommend improvements as necessary. 
  • Liaise with our vendor Mercer on benefit proposals and then also execute any enhancements/changes/updates, which includes communication internally with people team, employees and managers
  • Execute harmonization of C&B for acquired business units and future M&A projects.
  • Align initiatives with global medium- and long-term compensation strategy in the international region to ensure we remain competitive in the labor market. This includes maintaining country specific salary bands, compliance for minimum wages and local EBA.
  • Liaise with external vendors (Mercer/ Deloitte/ local lawyers) and internal partners on global compensation topics and processes in the region. Also responsible for successful invoicing/payment process of our global plans.
  • Partnering with Global Total Rewards team to support global initiatives and tools (annual merit increases/ variable compensation plans/ other reward programs). 
  • Manage worker Visa applications, country sponsorships, assignment letters and calculations, tax related topics and all other related global mobility questions.
  • Prepare and review compensation proposals for new hires and internal movements, ensuring alignment with internal salary structures, market competitiveness, and company policies.

  • Relevant working experience in an international environment
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with compensation, benefits (group, health insurance and retirement plans), global mobility enquiries/projects on both operational and tactical
  • Proven track record working across levels (from employee to senior management level).
  • Mindset where you are comfortable working in a fast paced and changing environment where there are not always fixed frameworks in place that you can fall back on
  • Professional level English
