Description

  • The Payroll Senior Administrator will be responsible for payroll administration and biweekly payroll activities for over 3,000 employees.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years experience in payroll in a medium to large-sized organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills while collaborating with cross-functional departments.
  • Must be able to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Work as a team member and follow directions.
  • Provides empathetic and professional service to customers, peers, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong prioritization skills by proactively managing day-to-day tasks, including balancing new assignments with an active inventory.
  • A high degree of accuracy with attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience using the UltiPro and HCM payroll system
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of electronic timekeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the payroll managed services team to open and close payrolls successfully.
  • Responsible for verification and auditing of timekeeping records for compliance.
  • Monitor timely submission and approvals of employee timesheets.
  • Communicate with human resources and employees on questions about the payment(s) and resolve any payroll issues.
  • Assist with data collection of payroll imports.
  • Preparing reports and compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
  • Resolving payroll-related discrepancies, collecting, and analyzing information.
  • Maintains payroll operations following policies, procedures, and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Acts as a role model and coaches, mentors, and manages a team of accounting specialist in the execution of department and company goals
  • Other duties as assigned per business needs.
