Description
The Account Executive is responsible for selling the company’s products and services to new and/or existing clients and developing or expanding accounts through face-to-face meetings, calls and emails. The Account Executive generates revenue through prospecting, lead generation, qualifying opportunities, proposing solutions and closing transactions. The Account Executive will build and maintain relationships with customers, team members, both internal and external to Ritchie Brothers Financial Services, as well as Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers representatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quota-driven sales (industry experience/knowledge preferred)
- Knowledge and experience with CRM, preferably salesforce
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of commercial equipment leasing, sales, marketing and funding documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated & action oriented
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel
- Keen customer focus, develop newly assigned accounts while enhancing customer relationships with existing accounts
Responsibilities
- Responsible for new and existing business and revenue generation, supporting customers in finding products and services of qualifying opportunities, proposing solutions and services that best meet their needs, while closing transactions.
- Sets the direction and policies for sales activities and manages the execution of these plans.
- Prepares and presents proposals and bids; negotiates terms and conditions with clients
- Builds and maintains relationships with existing and new customers through excellent communication and high-quality service.
- Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from customers.
- Recommend new solutions and services by evaluating current solutions and identifying needs to be filled.
- Collaborates with key decision makers to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver sales results
- Utilize Salesforce to document and drive the sales process with customers
- Perform other duties as assigned.
