As an auction company, we process a high volume of transactions and payments daily for suppliers, consignors, and buyers. The Accounts Payable department plays a vital role in ensuring these transactions are executed accurately and efficiently.

The Role:

The Accounts Payable Senior is responsible for high volume processing of accounts payable transactions for multiple legal entities in North America / EMEA / APAC. The primary mandate for the Senior will be to ensure all suppliers are paid on time, and that appropriate remittance process and internal controls are adhered to for the department and accounts. May be responsible for larger volume accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, correct and validate invoices and payments
  • Lead and support the AP team of 5 during the month/quarter/year close
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Accurate and timely responses to Payment Reminders and queries
  • Verifies signing authority of invoices, purchases orders and expense reports
  • Audit and support employee expenses (T&L)
  • Support, guide and train team members and monitor the bookings according to our accounting structure
  • Work closely with Project team to improve and simplify processes
  • Perform other general tasks that are related to Accounts Payable

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 3-4 years of accounts payable experience in EU environment
  • An MBO accountancy degree
  • Experience working with Oracle
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organized, detailed-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to always meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience working well as a member of a team and proven leadership skills
