Provide comprehensive support to customers and facilitate operations; this includes coordinating equipment delivery and obtaining ownership titles/registrations from consignors, as well as handling payment collection and releasing proper paperwork and documents to buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Inbound & Outbound Logistics Coordination:Assist consignors with logistics for delivering equipment to the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZ) site, and support buyers with logistics for transporting purchased goods to their final destinations.
  • Ownership Transfer & Official Document Support:Provide comprehensive support to consignors to transfer equipment ownership to "Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers" and complete all official paperwork required for the sale.
  • Auction Registration & Participation Support: Assist and guide customers through the registration process for auction participation and provide all necessary information to facilitate a seamless and easy bidding experience.
  • Payment Collection: Coordinate and follow up on collecting payments from buyers accurately and securely according to auction policies.
  • Buyer Paperwork Release: Prepare and hand over proper invoices, paperwork, and release documents to buyers upon payment completion to enable them to register and clear their purchases.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that both consignors and buyers have a positive, seamless, and trustworthy experience doing business with us.
  • Confidentiality & Trust: Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity when handling financial transactions, contracts, and ownership documents.
  • Internal Support: Act upon requests from internal teams and Territory Managers in a timely and accurate manner to support auction success.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve customer issues related to payments, delivery, or paperwork transfer, and track all interactions.
  • Availability & Flexibility:Ability to work extended or overtime hours during auction preparation days and auction days to ensure smooth operations.
  • Auction Support & Assigned Duties:Perform any other tasks related to auction operations, or any other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service & Personality: A friendly, outgoing, and patient personality with a passion for delivering fantastic customer service and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, in-person customer contact environment, with hands-on experience in transactional duties, payment collection, and document coordination.
  • Teamwork & Organization: Excellent organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment, combined with a collaborative team-player mindset, ready to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Tech & Data Entry Skills: Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new technology/software, and excellent keyboarding skills for fast and accurate data entry.
  • Language Skills (Mandatory Requirement): excellent working proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken). Having both languages is a strict, mandatory requirement for daily operations and handling paperwork; candidates must possess both languages to be considered.
