Description

The Director Sales Support and Enablement is a sales leadership role designed to help our supply and demand telesales units to deliver Unprecedented Choice to our customers, via the multiple product offerings within Ritchie Bros. The key duties of this role will be to budget and execute against annual SG&A and sales targets; manage, report on, and when required, conduct outbound consignment call campaigns and outbound asset sales activities . The objectives of each campaign/activity is to exceed the team goals while supporting the company in exceeding its stated sales goals. Work directly with Outside Sales reps and leaders, to identify potential and existing areas of opportunity in the marketplace.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B and/or B2C inside sales (i.e. outbound) experience, preferably in equipment rental/sales industry, with a consistent track-record of meeting/exceeding quotas
  • Above average understanding of e-commerce
  • Expertise with general office productivity tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Relentlessly driven to seek new business.
  • Competitive, but you never sacrifice integrity to win business
  • Good with numbers and the ability to make sound decisions quickly in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong presentation, strategic thinking, negotiation and closing skills
  • Professional office work environment

Responsibilities

  • Sales Driven Customer Focus –Using various systems, and sources for leads, determine and document the best way for each team to actively drive revenue to RBA. This will include leveraging the company’s customer databases, SalesForce and Mercury, as well as external sources, and potentially inbound leads
  • Supporting Outside Sales – Pilot programs directly related to improving Outside Sales effectiveness. From consignment to brokerage, this person must continually find more ways to drive sales
  • Develop and deliver accurate campaign analysis. This is a data driven group. Our efforts must be targeted by up to date analysis, the team must be able to pivot when trends become appararent, and all actions must be easily depicted and relayed to the team
  • Work specifically with Data Intelligence, Seller Marketing, and Digital marketing to produce the best leads
  • Sales motivated – Goes out of his or her way to complete a job, and has relentless drive to achieve results. Takes the initiative with minimal direction; driven to close the deals, and support team members
  • Self-starter, with a competitive attude, but capable of operating and facilitating a team sales environment. Demonstrates tenacity, flexiblility, and the positive attitude required to complete the tasks at hand
  • Ability to work a complicated deal across a diverse set of departments – each with unique requirements
  • Willing to dig-in to continually learn new things and build their knowledge base
