- Leading comprehensive safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections across field operations, identifying risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Analyzing safety and environmental performance using KPIs and leading indicators, identifying trends, and supporting field teams in achieving monthly performance targets
- Fostering a culture where safety is a shared responsibility, promoting accountability, openness, and collaboration at all levels of the organization
- Recording, investigating, and reviewing incidents, conducting root-cause analyses, defining corrective actions, and reporting insights and progress to senior leadership
- Researching, developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring they meet regulatory, operational, and business requirements
- Making authoritative decisions on the interpretation and enforcement of EHS regulations across diverse sites to ensure consistent compliance and risk mitigation
- Governing regional EHS policies, performance metrics, and operational requirements, using data to drive continuous improvement, sustainability, and risk reduction
- Overseeing compliance with safety training requirements and leading-indicator reporting, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with internal and external standards
- Directing response strategies and corrective actions for major safety, environmental, or compliance incidents with potential regulatory, financial, or reputational impact
- Providing senior oversight on safety violations, partnering with People teams and field leaders to recommend corrective or disciplinary actions and ensuring consistent application of company standards
- Leading initiatives that drive continuous safety improvement, culture change, and a proactive, initiative-taking safety mindset
What you bring
