The Supervisor, Lead Generation will guide a team of Lead Generation Representatives working with the Outside and Inside Sales teams to identify potential and existing areas of opportunity in the marketplace. The primary responsibility is working with and training the Lead Generation team on contacting potential sellers to qualify customers, uncover consignment needs, and fill the pipeline with as many qualified leads as possible. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with RB Global sales and revenue by prioritizing and allocating resources. This position is responsible for the generation of new business and driving share of wallet through outbound and inbound channels.

Responsibilities

  • Drives the Lead Generation team, using various systems, and sources for leads, contact customers to actively drive equipment to the live & online marketplaces. This will include leveraging multiple internal systems, as well as external sources, and potentially inbound leads. All activity should be entered within SalesForce
  • Responsible for developing and delivering accurate team statistics reporting performance against established targets via SalesForce. Track and follow up with contracts consigned, or any lost business
  • Work with the team to qualify customers and identify equipment for consignment. Ensures the Lead Generation Representatives are delivering qualified leads to the appropriate Sales Representative
  • The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with Ritchie Brothers sales and revenue by prioritizing and allocating resources
  • Manage the workflow of their team by creating team schedules, delegating tasks, and training the team in RB Global processes and procedures
  • Work with various departments within RB Global to execute newly developed programs
  • Creates, monitors, and revises Lead Generation plans to contribute to a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B and/or B2C inside sales (i.e. outbound) experience, preferably in equipment rental/sales industry, with a consistent track-record of meeting/exceeding quotas
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce and comfortable discussing technology with customers
  • Proficiency in general office productivity tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must possess a pleasant and professional phone manner
  • High sense of urgency, and outstanding time management/organizational skills
  • Persuasive and motivational personality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a “virtual” culture
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Additional languages are an asset, especially Spanish
