To provide excellent valuation services and pricing support, we are looking for a Valuation Analyst in the UK.

Responsibilities

As Valuation Analyst your focus is on valuations of diverse equipment and other assets. Being a valued team member of the global Valuation team, you will be the go-to person in Europe on everything regarding valuations and pricing. Equipped with a high level of expertise you provide valuations insight to the Sales and Operations teams, with an emphasis on Construction, Agriculture and Transportation industry sectors. Frequently visiting our sale sites across Europe give you the opportunity to obtain information and share knowledge at the same time. 

 

In your new role you will be constantly aware of changing market trends within the region. At the same time having a broad global market view of all assets typically viewed and/or appraised by the company. Your knowledge makes you a key-advisor to the senior management ranging from providing advice on deal structures or long-term sales strategies. We expect you to bring ideas and strategic thinking and help us grow as a company! Furthermore, you will:

  • Closely work with local teams to obtain, share and validate valuation information within each market to ensure accuracy of valuations
  • Conduct market research on equipment valuations utilizing EDAs and trade publications
  • Partner with the local Marketing & Business Intelligence teams to understand our market position and market trends of diverse equipment and other assets for the future
  • Analyze market and competitor pricing data, including historical internal pricing
  • Provide valuation intelligence and insights through monthly reports of “Market Intel”
  • Report out on key business insights and recommend price positioning strategies for different equipment and other assets within the regional markets
  • Take part in and add value to post-sale meetings held after each auction sale when working at the regional sites.
  • Organize training courses for both experienced and non-experienced sales people to upgrade their valuation and equipment skills.

Building long lasting relationships is the key of your success. Furthermore, you have:

  • Experience in diverse industry sectors such as Construction, Agriculture and Transportation.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience ideally working in an equipment remarketing environment 
  • Demonstrated ability in analyzing data and reporting out market intelligence
  • Professional level English, (and preferably French, Spanish, Italian of German) 

 

It’s important to note that: In this job you will travel up to 20% of the time.
