To keep on offering excellent service to our customers, we are looking for a Sales Assistant for our business in Maltby.

Responsibilities

You'll be pivotal in ensuring seamless sales operations and fostering strong relationships. Your responsibilities span from ensuring data quality to providing frontline assistance to customers and supporting our Territory Managers. By contributing your expertise, you'll help drive our success and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional service.

In this role you’ll:

  • Build a good working knowledge of our services, the market, and our customers industries.
  • Develop, prioritize, execute, and meet deadlines of daily, weekly, and monthly task lists generated by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Manage the sales team admin, including cars, phones, events, bookings, stock, etc.
  • Coordinate with all sales meetings, auctions, conferences, and special events.
  • Answer general employee and customer inquiries in a professional and customer orientated manner.
  • Work on developing our market research activities through our current database and prospecting for new potential customers.
  • Develop an understanding for competition and track their business.
  • Work with our Salesforce CRM by adding new customers, analyzing current activity and develop plans to increase our market penetration.
  • Direct all specific inquires to the appropriate individual in the department.

Qualifications

You have excellent organizational skills, you’re the type that leaves no detail unattended. Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. You thrive working as part of a team and pitch-in wherever needed. Excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task multiple projects and initiatives effectively and prioritize work are essential. Furthermore, you have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business or related further education or degree
  • Interest in farming or machinery related business 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Professional English level
