The Equipment Specialist (remote) manages all areas and activities relating to auction site equipment standards & descriptions, equipment data quality control, auction sequencing, shoot price management, year verification, VIN management, & auction advertising. There will be a heavy focus on data quality and meeting SLAs. The Equipment Specialist is the subject matter expert on equipment descriptions, standards, sequence and other asset management functions for TM’s and local yard staff. This multi-functional position is constantly dealing with tight deadlines associated with all the auction life cycle milestones such as advertising dates, catalogue, and lot number, they are not only dealing with tight deadlines but high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Sale Sequence & Shoot Prices -Managing auction sequencing, shoot price, ring splits, choice & privilege for all site-based auctions held in the region (+10 sites US West & MEX or US East).
  • Pre-Inspection Quality Control - Managing all asset pre-inspection quality control, ensuring consistency and quality for all equipment data on our public facing website and biding applications pre-inspection.
  • VIN & Year Verification - Managing the year and VIN verification for all assets sold in their perspective region.
  • Auction Advertising - Acquire all photos and data of all asset information for the sites auction advertising.
  • Ensuring global equipment description consistency following the Equipment Standards Manual.
  • Clean up contract data by research, following up with sales and potentially contacting OEM’s and local dealers, to fill in incomplete information ensuring the best possible customer experience displaying equipment information online or in our external applications.
  • Work with Yard Managers to adjust sequencing to accommodate line-up requests from the site but adhering to sequencing standards as much as possible.
  • Works directly with the ROMs, Yard Managers, TMs and RSMs for their perspective regions, on all but not limited to the above responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Work environment includes office and outdoors
