As the Communication Specialist, you will utilize your expertise to lead the defined strategy and execution of all communications necessary to ensure a successful launch of our new Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) system in December 2025. This project directly affects 8,000 employees in the United States and Canada. 

Your expertise will bring both strategic vision and tactical approach to engage with an established team to create compelling content. You will be working with our project team and in partnership with the Director of People Team and Training Lead to ensure our employees are aware and ready for the implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the project’s communication strategy and plan.
  • Work with the Project Manager to update and execute the project communication plan.
  • Partner with the internal Communication Manager to create and distribute engaging internal communications content, including announcements, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations.
  • Facilitate and support content development for virtual meetings by creating compelling content and managing event logistics to ensure a great experience for our remote audience.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure internal communication remains clear, consistent, and aligned with the strategic direction of the business.
  • Advise key stakeholders on the communications strategy, including channel, timing, and messaging.
  • Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of internal communications through feedback, proposing improvements accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain a dynamic content calendar, ensuring the timeliness and relevance of communications.
  • Identify innovative approaches to foster employee engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline ie. communications, journalism, business, etc. or applicable experience
  • 5+ years of communications experience preferably with a significant number of those focused on employee communications, or similar environments.
  • Prefer experience with and understanding of Oracle Cloud.
  • Have a strategic mindset with a focus on aligning communications with organizational goals and project milestones.
  • Experience in implementing communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage large volume of work within a project environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity to develop content when solution is not fully defined.
