Job Description

The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Auction Coordinator by assisting with Joint Inventory and day-to-day auction inventory functions. The position will also monitor and ensure inventory needs are met for the daily auction activities. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: photographing inventory and inventory control, assisting with and reviewing basic inspections on items and replenishing stock of inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in Joint Inventory with the Auction Coordinator and government staff for government shipments.
  • Performs basic inspections of inventory items, performing inspection reports by taking photographs the equipment and overall condition
  • Verify key equipment data (serial number / VIN, hours / miles, machine-level and / or emission-related certifications, etc.) for typos and other inaccuracies
  • Lotting and classifying inventory to be put into an organized system for later retrieval
  • Determine best option of our available sales channels to maximize returns for the company.
  • Determine ideal quantity for grouping items into lots and pricing with our proprietary system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred
