Job Description

A Post-Sale Speaclist will work within our Government Services business, specifically to develop and grow IRB Global government marketplace, The Post-Sale Speaclist role will be a remote, field sales, based position, with sales calls and business development efforts being carried out Nationally. The Post-Sale Speaclist will report directly to the Vice President, Government Business Development. The role will be integrated into the current business development field sales team, and will encompass the following:

Responsibilities

  • Implement a business development/sales plan to identify and capture new business, while growing existing business in assigned territory
  • Monitor government agency websites for new requests for proposals (RFP) of auction services
  • Analyze RFPs to determine if they are worth pursuing
  • Conduct sales calls within assigned territory on local and federal government agencies to develop business opportunities, shape RFP’s, and win contracts
  • Organize and attend business development events
  • Assist in the development and execution of annual business strategy and plans
  • Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ field sales or comparable professional experience
  • Initiative based, proven success in autonomous work environments
  • Team player with leadership abilities, who is goal oriented and results driven
  • Capable of succeeding in a highly dynamic environment
  • Highly organized and able to concurrently handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Professional office work environment
