Job Description

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers de México está buscando un Especialista de Logística para coordinar el transporte marítimo, importaciones/exportaciones y transporte terrestre de maquinaría para construcción, equipo industrial y de transporte, brindando un servicio excepcional a sus clientes.

La Oportunidad:

Bajo la dirección del Gerente Regional de Operaciones, el Especialista de Logística es responsable de coordinar el transporte marítimo, importaciones/exportaciones y transporte terrestre, brindando información en tiempo real de los embarques, asegurándose de estar en cumplimiento con la ley aduanera y las regulaciones internacionales, brindando un servicio excepcional a los clientes y mejorando continuamente los procedimientos. El Especialista de Logística recomendará las mejores rutas y tarifas para el traslado de los equipos, realizará el análisis de cuentas de gastos, pronósticos y proyectos de comercio internacional. 

En esta posición:

• Trabajará con proveedores, transportistas y clientes para garantizar la entrega puntual de los equipos.
• Garantizará el cumplimiento de todas las leyes y reglamentos aplicables.
• Preparará presupuestos semanales.
• Negociará tarifas de transporte.
• Enviará cotizaciones. 
• Se asegurará que la descripción del equipo en las facturas, listas de empaque y BL coincida con la información del contrato de subasta.
• Actualizará a los clientes en tiempo real el estatus de los embarques.
• Dará solución oportuna a problemas con los embarques.
• Reportará avances y problemas.
• Comunicará sobre arribos y despachos a las áreas internas.
• Revisará las cuentas de gastos de los Agentes Aduanales y Transportistas para confirmar que los montos sean correctos.
• Enviará reportes de gastos con líneas de tiempo a los clientes y atenderá sus dudas.
• Presentará informes de servicios/ventas, ingresos y gastos.
• Buscará eficiencias y establecerá planes para el crecimiento del área de logística.
• Brindará un excelente servicio a clientes internos y externos.

• Licenciatura en Comercio Internacional o Logística deseable.
• Bilingüe Español-Inglés.
• Licencia de conducir vigente.
• Sin antecedentes penales.
• Visa americana deseable.
• Ocasionalmente trabajar tiempo extra y algunos fines de semana para los eventos de subasta.

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers de México is looking for a Logistics Lead to coordinate ocean freights, imports/exports, inland freight of construction, industrial and transportation equipment, providing an exceptional customer service.

 

Opportunity:

Under the direction of the Regional Operations Manager, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating shipping, imports/exports, and ground transportation, providing real-time shipment information, ensuring compliance with customs law and international regulations, providing exceptional customer service, and continually improving procedures. The Logistics Lead will recommend the best routes and rates for moving equipment, perform expense account analysis, forecasting and international trade projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with suppliers, carriers and customers to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. 
• Prepare weekly Budgets. 
• Negotiate freight rates.
• Submit quotations. 
• Ensure that equipment description on invoices, packing lists and BLs match with the auction contract information.
• Update customers in real time on the status of shipments.
• Provide timely resolution to problems with shipments.
• Report progress and problems.
• Communicate arrivals and dispatches to internal areas.
• Review customs broker and carrier expense accounts to confirm amounts are correct.
• Send expense reports with timelines to customers and answer their questions.
• Submit service, revenue, and expense reports.
• Look for efficiencies and establish growth plans in the logistics area.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in imports and exports, logistics services, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of goods.
• Organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or Logistics desirable.
• Bilingual Spanish English
• Valid driver's license
• No criminal record
• U.S. visa desirable
• Occasionally work overtime and some weekends for auction events.
