Job Description

In this role, the Supervisor, Accounting will produce complete and accurate financial information for internal and external financial statements as well as be the owner of the controls for DDI Technology and overall control environment considerations. The role will liaise regularly with the Financial Operations, Planning and Analytics and Global Accounting/Finance teams to make decisions and implement operational, business and control improvements. As a leader they will be responsible to understand the business and its processes to be able to speak to the financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide meaningful insight and analysis of financial results to management (as required).
  • Present monthly P&L and BS Variance analytics to management (as required).
  • Prepare/review account reconciliations.
  • Liaise with the Corporate Accounting team on month-end close and technical accounting matters.
  • Oversee the operations control environment by continuously monitoring and seeking for improvements and lead implementations of improvements.
  • Lead team to ensure completeness and accuracy of ledgers reported under US GAAP, on time with corporate calendar.
  • Lead integration and centralization of processes and their optimization where possible.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of operational accounting systems, processes and procedures.
  • Build partnerships with key stakeholders in the organization to address new issues as they arise and provide advice for resolution.
  • Ensure controls are designed and executed to audit standard.
  • Partner with transformation teams to manage system integration/transition, as needed.
  • Liaise with Treasury on banking issues (as required).

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a People Manager position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field of study (e.g., Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics) or similar business discipline preferred Build partnerships with
  • CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred, or combination of education and experience
