Job Description
The Title Supervisor is responsible for the oversight, supervision, and development of a team within the Title Center. In conjunction with the Title Manager, the Title Supervisor ensures Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and processing timelines and compliance coincide with applicable state and federal laws.
Responsibilities
- Supervises the processing team and handles all customer issues in the absence of the Title Manager
- Assists Title Manager in the timely and efficient flow of all necessary documents in accordance with applicable codes, processes, and SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
- Audits the assigned team’s workloads, processes, and reports
- Supervises staff and monitors their work to ensure accuracy and completion of tasks
- Monitors productivity and efficiency through the custom dashboards and reports
- Resolve direct reporting employee issues and reaches out to Title Manager and Director of Title Operations as needed
- Assists the TRS team and customers with any DMV questions or processes
- Organizes and leads the team processing large title projects such as duplicate titles, transfers, and registrations
- Monitors and updates the Microsoft TRS Teams application
- Trains new Title Clerks, Title Specialists, and Lead Title Specialists for the assigned team
- Reports staff SLAs and concludes leading factors for missing SLAs
- Provides tools to aid in excellent customer service
- Conducts regular meetings with all department personnel to communicate policies and review issues or opportunities
- Performs other requests/directives issued by the Title Center Manager or Director of Title Operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of customer service and management experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- 2+ years State/National vehicle title processing experience
- Excellent ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced culture, changes in the environment, and shifts in priorities
