Job Description

Working with a large technical team of Technical Product Owners, Software Engineers and Testers you will be responsible for technical and architectural leadership across the engineering teams in the Finance and HR domains. You will architect end-to-end solutions leveraging RB Global’s Oracle Cloud solutions (Oracle HCM, ERP and EPM Cloud) including designing data flow between Oracle Cloud, on-premise, and other involved applications.

You will provide solution architecture and design guidance to the implementation teams to ensure software solutions align with the business requirements. You will work closely with our Product Management leadership to provide technical vision for our products in greater road-mapping and planning exercises. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, developers, and other leaders throughout the business to deliver compelling and efficient software solutions. You will bring a proactive attitude about risk, working to identify and resolve performance and scalability issues with the support of others in Product Engineering. You will also be responsible for coaching and training a team of technical product owners (Functional analysts) and developers partnering with Engineering Managers and Technical leads on annual performance reviews and using your industry influence and knowledge as part of the panel that will hire new talent where needed.

Responsibilities

Accountable for working with and across Product Teams to develop a sustainable, performant and well designed suite of products that meet RB Global technical standards
Drive the adoption of designs and assist teams in meeting technical and business goals
Develop and publish new technical standards across the organization and drive adoption of those standards.
Build skillsets within the team through partnership with Engineering Enablement, People Technology team (HRIS), and Finance Product & Systems teams to assure team members have the skills, tools, and domain knowledge necessary to achieve their team mission.

Qualifications

University degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years of experience implementing Oracle HCM or ERP enterprise software solutions including at least 2 years as a Solution Architect for large-scale Cloud implementations.
Strong functional expertise with several modules in Oracle HCM, Financials, or Procurement. Proficiency in configuring and extending Oracle Fusion applications. Good knowledge of system integration technologies, data conversion/ETL, security, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with executive-level stakeholders
