Job Description

IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company is seeking an Inspection Services Manager to join our team. This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States, with a limited travel element to support business needs.

The Inspection Services Manager is responsible for the overall performance and management of IAA’s inspection Services Product Suite. Utilizing continuous process improvement, this position will strategically monitor our branches performance metrics, refine the best practices, and develop operational training collateral. Collaborating with sales and our account management teams, this role will understand the challenges that insurance providers experience, make recommendations to maximize the suite of services for resolution and simultaneously strengthen our partnerships. This role will also work to evaluate and leverage new technology, review yard execution of suite workflow operations, and deploy new processes as required.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Provide guidance, oversight, and management to the daily operations of between IAA branches, providers, and vendors.
  • Leverages BI to understand branch and provider performance levels and interprets data to provide feedback and recommendations.
  • Monitor SLA compliance and work with operations and vendors to determine cause and appropriate action plan in instances where compliance is not met.
  • Facilitate resolution of provider(s) complaints and work with necessary internal teams to address areas of concern.  Find innovative solutions to solve for complex problems. 
  • Provides direction as needed to Operations Team and to IAA Mobility Team while working with all members to ensure focus remains on the correct path.
  • Provide insights based on reporting and historical trends to provider(s) regularly, in addition to ad hoc data requests from provider(s).
  • Work with a wide variety of stakeholders to identify needs/goals for the overall strategy and development the product. 
  • This position requires the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external and will work closely with Sales.
  • Participate in Sales Efforts and meeting with Providers.
  • Deliver exceptional service to IAA’s internal and external customers.

Competencies:

  • 5+ years of business knowledge/experience developing partnerships with vendors and customers. 
  • Candidate must show history of tactful and positive dealings with all levels of personnel within an organization, internal and external.
  • Able to effectively influence internal and external stakeholders to favorable outcomes. 
  • Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills essential.
  • Exhibit great collaboration skills, with a willingness to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to identify trends and effectively communicate opportunities using data and dashboards.
  • Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and adjusting schedules to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Possess the ability to effectively problem solve and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products.
  • Candidate would ideally have experience with data analysis and visualization, worked or have prior client/vendor experience and/or an insurance background. 
  • Ability to travel 25% for work purposes.
