Job Description
- The Sales Effectiveness Manager (SEM) partners with sales leadership to support the implementation and adoption of sales strategies which enable optimal sales productivity. SEMs collaborate and consult with front line sales leaders to ensure understanding of sales strategies and initiatives, utilization of sales tools, and sharing of best practices to enhance efficiency. This role also brokers and supports cross-functional teams to enable effective communication and alignment between sales and other functional areas.
Responsibilities
- Assist with selection, assessment, and implementation of technologies to support the sales process and improve productivity
- Utilize data to track, analyze and report on sales performance to enable sales leaders in identifying areas for improvement and opportunity
- Compile and share best practices for go to market strategy and sales leader “day in the life” across North America
- Formulate consistent strategy within sales effectiveness, then act independently to implement
- Determine content, discussion topics and related metrics to enable ongoing sales growth and development
- Promote awareness and clarity to ensure understanding and adoption of sales tools, strategies and initiatives
- Guide process and implementation of improvement of sales processes
- Interpret strategic focus and relay tactical execution strategies
- Act and adapt to serve as change agent for organizational initiatives
- Broker and support cross-functional teams to enable effective communication and alignment between sales and other functional areas
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience successfully managing a sales territory, associated deliverables, and achieving targets (or correlating experience)
- Established knowledge, experience, and skill with Microsoft Office suite (excel, word and power point especially) & CRM (SalesForce preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (organization, engagement, facilitation)
- Proven success in implementing new programs across multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated analytical mindset, critical thinking skills, and strategic approach with an enterprise focus.
