RB Global is looking for a detail-oriented, highly communicative Communications & Event Manager to join our Corporate Communications & Events team and oversee a variety of projects. Your specific focus will be on managing the execution of tradeshows across the international markets, identifying content and maintaining the European blog, supporting in ad hoc communication projects, supporting international social channels, communicating progress toward key milestones and reporting out on the success of the projects. You’ll work closely with the Director and key internal stakeholders to turn marketing plans into reality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for trade shows and networking events, including booth setup, sponsorship, staffing for 20+ events across North America.
  • Manage relationships and act as liaison between company and tradeshow managers, vendors.
  • Partner with marketing managers to identify and implement sales and marketing strategies, tactics, and programs in support tradeshow presence.
  • Maintain and update trade show budget providing monthly actual reports on each event, and post-event analysis reports.
  • Assist with marketing communication projects, including social media, blog content and media relations.
  • Creating and maintaining blog content calendar, communicating key dates to internal stakeholders.
  • Daily engagement with and response to followers and communities across social channels across multiple platforms and accounts.
  • Partner with social media mangers, marketing managers and marketing director to manage the execution of all initiatives within the annual social marketing plan for international social channels; including maintain content calendar and influencer support.
  • Pitching in and handling minor, ad hoc requests for marketing support as needed.
  • Keeps up to date on industry trends and competitor marketing.
  • Represent the RB Global brand appropriately, as well as any other partnerships.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience working collaboratively across a Marketing department- working in-house within a matrix organization and specific support with tradeshow management and communication project management.
  • Strong storytelling skills, especially as it relates to presenting information and research in a concise and helpful manner.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with social media marketing channels. 
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, team environment.
  • Superior organization skills and attention to detail; ability to proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive under the pressure of deadlines in a fast stakes dynamic business environment.
