Description
The Project Manager Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in the Operations area, which includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. The responsibilities include change management, complex analyses, developing insights, creating reports and dashboards, participating in contract negotiations, and holding vendor accountable for deliverables in a culturally diverse environment. Areas of focus will include cost reduction and enhanced operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience.
- Strong financial acumen with a solid background in financial modeling and business analysis.
- Fast learner able to link diverse sources of information in an objective and expeditious manner.
- Ability to identify, analyze and suggest solutions for problems, manage customer relationships, and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to drive change management.
Responsibilities
- Oversees all projects in department scope from start to finish with the focus on operational efficiency and cost reduction.
- Responsible for setting project goals and developing plans to meet those goals.
- Develops and coordinates project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports.
- Leads the project team members and developing schedules and identifies individual responsibilities.
- Leads in preparation of business case analysis for modifications/enhancements to outsourcing arrangement including identification of additional outsourcing opportunities.
- Responsible for tracking/reporting on performance of pre-established KPI’s and progress toward business model savings objectives.
- Accountable for Implementing strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Interfaces effectively with all levels within the organization in a manner that is collaborative and respectful.
- Handles/leads completion of ad-hoc questions/ issues/projects as they arise, making recommendations where appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
