Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager Strategic Accounts to lead the management and growth of our most critical client relationships within the UK and Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, deepening client engagement, and driving long-term revenue growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders within our strategic customers and prospects, building relationships at Executive c-suite level and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and value. Success in this role requires a proven ability to manage value-based solution sales engagements, strong commercial acumen, outstanding relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex organizations to identify new opportunities and strengthen partnerships 

Qualifications

Education & Experience 

8+ years of experience in key account management, enterprise sales, or client relationship roles. Experience working within the equipment   

Proven success managing complex, high-value client relationships and driving revenue growth. 

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. 

Strategic & Commercial Acumen 

Strong business and financial acumen with a deep understanding of account planning, forecasting, and contract negotiation. 

Ability to align client objectives with company capabilities to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes. 

Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities and develop long-term strategic account plans. 

 Leadership & Communication Skills 

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels, including C-suite. 

Confident presenting to both internal stakeholders and external executives. 

Strong leadership presence and the ability to drive collaboration across teams and departments. 

Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities 

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate client needs and proactively address challenges. 

Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance measurement. 

Tools & Systems 

Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and reporting tools. 

Comfortable using data to drive account strategies and customer engagement initiatives. 

Other Requirements 

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend strategic meetings. 

Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

Account Strategy & Planning  

Develop and execute strategic account plans for high-value clients to drive long-term growth, retention, and customer success 

Set clear objectives, KPIs, and timelines aligned with client goals and business priorities. 

Solution Definition & Proposition 

Have a curious, business led approach to develop a deep understanding of our customers and prospects business needs, goals, challenges and aspirations.  

Based on developing an understanding of our customers objectives, be able to define our solution proposition, leveraging the portfolio of RB products/services to differentiate ourselves from the competition to drive value, and in doing so, secure long term contract growth. 

Relationship Management 

Serve as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts, building and maintaining strong executive-level relationships. 

Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, understanding their challenges and aligning solutions to business outcomes. 

Revenue Growth, Cross Sell & Upsell Opportunities 

Identify, negotiate and close new business sales for our Rouse products within allocated Strategic Accounts. 

Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion, including upselling and cross-selling products or services. 

Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to close new business within existing accounts. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

Work closely with product, marketing, customer success, regional sales teams, operations, delivery and regional sales teams to ensure high-quality service and solution alignment. 

Coordinate internal resources to meet client needs and expectations efficiently and effectively. 

Client Advocacy & Satisfaction  

Champion the voice of the customer within the organization to influence product development, service delivery, and support. 

Monitor client satisfaction and take proactive measures to address risks and strengthen engagement. 

Performance & Reporting 

Track and report on account performance, revenue forecasting, and strategic initiatives. 

Provide regular updates to executive leadership on account status, growth opportunities, and potential risks. 

Contract & Commercial Management 

Oversee commercial agreements, contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance within strategic accounts. 

Ensure terms are aligned with business objectives and client expectations.
