Job Description
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound mail and packages, including but not limited to organizing and scheduling pick-ups and preparation items. You will need to communicate effectively with internal and external customers both in person, over the phone and through email.
Responsibilities
- Distribute all incoming and outgoing mail and courier shipments in a timely manner
- Track and ensure successful delivery of all courier shipments
- Process and manage all required documentation
- Process courier invoices and create purchase orders
- Build pallets to ensure stable and safe shipment transportation
- Maintain and update access cards and documentation regularly
- Manage offsite storage requests, including retrieval and disposal
- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks and provide coverage as required for the Office Services team
Requirements
- Full-time and in person Monday-Friday
- High school diploma required; additional post-secondary education is preferred
- Proven experience operating pallet jacks is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Valid and clean driver’s license required
- Demonstrated dedication to providing excellent customer service
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor and enthusiasm for collaborative work
- High level of organizational skills, integrity and professionalism
- Must be able to lift/move up to 60lbs
