The Title Service Representative is directly responsible for securing all necessary documents to accompany applications to transfer vehicle title ownership. Tasks include compiling all necessary documents, communicating with customers and vehicle owners, resolving problems and discrepancies, answering inbound phone calls, sending emails, and providing excellent customer service. Compliance with state and/or buyer requirements is essential. Where IAA has authorization to process applications as an acting state processing authority, Title Specialist may also work within those state systems

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide a variety of support services in a title center office environment

• Process orders and assignments, including logging and tracking of mail

• Open incoming mail and prepare packages

• Send keys and documents to branches and providers, document file notes, and create

transmittals

• Scan and enter documents and data into computer system same day received.

• File and pull documents in correct numerical order

• Set up new records and maintain existing records. Match records by comparing data points

• Communicate through email and system notes

• Follow well-established procedures and under the close direction of the supervisor

• Open to learning automobile titling

• Help with other office functions as needed
