  • The Country Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership and management to the sales organization based at multiple sales regions. He/she ensures that the Company’s sales strategies, tactics, and business plans are developed, executed, and successfully achieved to support the Company’s strategic pillar of growing our core subscription and advertising business. The Country Manager is responsible for building a high-performance sales team and growing the subscription revenue, customer database and employer brand awareness of the market.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the Account Managers (AM’s) in successfully executing the envisioned strategy and ensuring that sales targets are achieved for their respective divisions.
  • Lead the development and drive the execution of divisional strategies to increase subscription revenue, increase advertising sales and along with AM’s, participates in conferences, trade shows, seminars and networking events.
  • Develop the AM’s and their sales teams through demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring.
  • In conjunction with the [Sales Director] & AM’s, lead the development of overall group and divisional sales objectives, strategies, and tactics for the defined region to deliver on the objective of growing the Company’s core subscription and advertising business.
  • Fosters a culture of clear direct communication within the divisions and throughout the Company to ensure that roles and responsibilities are understood, inter-divisional and inter-departmental cooperation is encouraged, and employee engagement is maintained and enhanced. Develop and train the salespeople to their best capabilities and demonstrate best practice to the team
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in a sales-driven environment with 3+ years in a (senior) level management role with a proven track record of building, leading and managing high performing sales teams within a customer focused organization.
  • Experience with online software/IT-driven solutions is a must.
  • Exceptional track record of developing and implementing sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives and targets.
  • A high degree of customer service orientation: you care about building authentic and long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Overnight traveling should not be a problem, multiple multi-day events will occur on a yearly basis.
