To further strengthen our position in Ireland, we are looking for a Territory Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

As our Territory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating, driving, and executing supplier development. You'll be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing strategic suppliers. Your expertise will support our sourcing team's vision by providing insights, services, and transactional solutions for our commercial assets.

In this role you’ll:

  • Lead the sourcing of new and existing strategic customers by evaluating equipment for consignment, negotiating, driving, and executing on contracts while forging long term relationships.
  • Support the vision of the sourcing team on insights, services, and transactional solutions for commercial assets.
  • Manage day-to-day contact with strategic customers (including owning agenda of interactions) and track all communication for full transparency.
  • Prepare and oversee supplier negotiations including feasibility of transactions, revenue growth and market share against Ritchie Brothers goals and strategies.
  • Track and formalize (long-term) customer performance by identifying gaps, initiating improvement opportunities, developing mitigation measures, and executing cost versus revenue.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Our minimal requirements for this position: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally you have graduated in a major of Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Business Admin, Construction, or Agriculture. 
  • Recent commercial work experience. 
  • Experience working with and on (heavy) machinery. 
  • Professional level English
