It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction – from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.  

Job Description

The Inspection Report Coordinator responsibilities include providing final review and posting of inspection reports prepared by field inspectors that have been uploaded into the IronPlanet Inspection Report system. Inspection Report Coordinators must prepare listings for public viewing with in depth quality and content accuracy. Job responsibilities also include the ability to professionally communicate with field inspectors, sales staff, and alternate internal departments for effective sale management of independent listings.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the accuracy and quality of each inspection report by reviewing inspection checklist ratings, comments, videos, photographs & fluid sample results. Assure listings categories and descriptions are aligned to company/industry standards for effective search and customer identification.
  • Verify key equipment data (serial number / VIN, hours / miles, machine-level and / or emission-related certifications, fluid sample data, etc.) for typos or other inaccuracies. Ensure that “wordsmithing” of comments and other text is consistent and professional across reports.
  • Provide support for regional inspection inquiries and communicate with inspectors and team members to promote effective quality control.
  • Daily prioritization for effective sale processing
  • Inspection inventory management and processing efficiency techniques.
  • Communicating field inspection quality control concerns to managers for follow up training and support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in business operations or construction, transportation, agriculture, energy, or related industry environment.
