Job Description
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, content creation (vignettes, video clips, written), great energy and the desire to make a meaningful difference as we communicate the organization's vision and values across all channels—connecting the great work delivered by our team members to the realization of our vision. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of media savvy, strong communication skills and the ability to shape communications from the voice of our executives through our customer-facing teams to highlight and promote how our teams deliver on commitments and bring the RB Global promise to life. They will partner with Marketing to connect our internal messaging with our external releases and with individual departments and leaders to align messaging to a broader narrative. They will create plans that make a measurable difference in team member understanding of strategic priorities and how their roles drive the outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal communication strategy, plans, calendar, tactics and metrics aligned with RB Global’s vision and strategic priorities.
- Continuously assess and improve communication channels and tools against key metrics using engagement, connection, and productivity as key measures.
- Content creation and management (create, write, edit and distribute internal announcements, newsletters, and strategic priority communications).
- Manage (in partnership with Technology and Marketing) on-line intranet strategy and content. Experience in Sharepoint and Simpplr a plus.
- Employee engagement and culture building – partner with People Team to develop campaigns that promote RB Global values and on-the-job connection to our strategic priorities.
- Create an internal communication portfolio, schedule and strategy that fosters transparency and trust.
- Partner closely with corporate communications team to amplify our brand narrative internally, ensuring that our team members are aligned and connected with our key messages and values.
- Manage engagement-related projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Communication-related certifications
- 5 years direct experience in the communication and engagement space Proven effectiveness creating strong, collaborative working relationships.
- Positive, strong work ethic that always delivers on commitments.
- Experience using/managing corporate intranet / content management system (CMS).
- This is a remote role.
- Expected compensation for this position starts at $96,000.00
