Job Description

  • The Sr. Director of Cloud Infrastructure will lead our cloud strategy and operations in partnership with our VP of Infrastructure, Engineering Leadership, and internal customers. This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our global, private and multi-partner cloud infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and drives innovation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a strategic mindset to drive our cloud initiatives forward. Deep experience with platform engineering and the management of a state-of-the-art engineering platform from a Product POV is an important factor in our decision-making. Experience with managing a global network of private and public cloud and a history of public cloud migration will enable you to partner with our CTO, VP of Infrastructure and Principal Architects on an effective technology and infrastructure strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company’s cloud strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Partner with IT, product development, and business units to identify cloud needs and opportunities.
  • Lead initiatives to improve cloud infrastructure efficiency, including cost management and resource optimization.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of cloud engineers and architects.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the cloud infrastructure team.
  • Communicate cloud strategy and infrastructure initiatives to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Present insights and recommendations to drive cloud-based decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud security practices.
  • Proven track record of driving cloud-based business transformations and managing large-scale cloud ecosystems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior executives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
