Job Description

The Territory Manager drives in local market sales for our Branch locations! You will be an outside sales position overseeing meeting plan profitability, sales, and customer service levels. The role is working with local businesses and dealers to sell excess obsolete inventory at IAA, assisting with the auction, and creating a positive work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities from dealers, local financial institutions, local auto rental companies, county, and city municipalities, and towing/transportation companies
  • Monitor market trends from used car sales reports and whole results and communicate findings to Management
  • Documented face-to-face sales calls completed per week; entered into Salesforce
  • Setup new accounts through contract admin from phone and road calls
  • Manage and update buyer recruitment log on a weekly basis
  • Manage projects and marketing materials for sales calls on a weekly basis
  • Attend & participate in local Dealers Association including meetings & functions
  • Exceeding sales goals/targets
  • Research & resolve settlement-related issues
  • Compile & submit weekly expense reports for reimbursement
  • Other duties as assigned per needs

Competencies:

  • Minimum of 2 or more years outside sales experience, basic computer skills
  • Strong presentation and building connections skills
  • Time managing skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work unattended 
  • Professional and clean appearance
     

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous Auction or whole car experience
  • Automotive, insurance and rental car industries experience a plus
  • B2B sales experience 
  • BA/BS Preferred
