Job Description

The Senior Manager, IT Field Operations is responsible for leading diverse teams that oversees the management of IT services and end-user compute across a global network of over 200 sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all field operations meet organizational standards, support business needs, and drive efficiencies. The Sr Manager, IT Field Operations collaborates closely with IT and business leaders, and acts as a bridge between IT and business. The position requires strategic leadership to align field IT support and service delivery with broader corporate objectives, while managing a team of IT field engineers

Responsibilities

• Global IT Service Management - Ensure consistent and reliable IT service delivery across over 200 sites worldwide, establishing and enforcing IT standards, procedures, and best practices while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and minimizing operational downtime.
• Leadership and Team Development - Manage, mentor, and develop a team of field IT managers and engineers. Provide guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing, customer-focused team capable of handling the unique challenges of a distributed, multi-site environment.
• Business Relationship Management - Build and nurture strong relationships with business leaders across all locations, acting as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to align IT field operations with business goals. Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication and understanding of business needs, priorities, and challenges.
• Global IT Refresh Program Management - Lead the planning and execution of a comprehensive global IT refresh program, ensuring that all end-user hardware across 200+ sites remain up-to-date, secure, and capable of meeting evolving business needs. Develop and oversee the program roadmap, prioritizing sites and assets based on business requirements, equipment lifecycle, and performance impact.
• Budget and Vendor Management - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for field IT operations. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring contractual compliance and cost-effective delivery of services that meet organizational needs and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5+ years in management of global IT Field Operations
• Occasional travel across North America
• Hybrid – Corporate Office/Remote environment
