Job Description

To support our Italian team with a variety of tasks, we are looking for a Sales & Customer Success Specialist in Caorso (IT).

Responsibilities

The Sales team will rely heavily on you as Sales & Customer Success Assistant for support and assistance to keep the business moving forward and growing. As we are an event driven company in which we frequently encounter complex multi country transactions this position has its challenges. You will support both the Regional Sales Manager who you also report to and the Territory Managers who are out in the field producing revenue. Fast and accurate support on contracts, qualifying sales leads and marketing activities are your focus areas. Things move fast within Ritchie Bros and therefore no day is predictable. In this role you will:

  • Act as a "Customer Service" Liaison between the Sales team, Operation teams and Customers. Pro-actively inform the sales team of customer related issues for immediate resolution.
  • All-round office management (booking meetings, arranging flight, organize yard visits)
  • Participation and support in the organization of tradeshows
  • Management and execution of viewing days for example welcoming customers, buyer registration, overall support and hospitality
  • Research and qualify leads from our website and make outbound calls to potential sellers
  • Handle inbound calls that might lead to additional sales or give support about the online auction process
  • Support Sales team with Seller related administration (contracts)
  • Post-sale survey contacting amongst bidders and buyers

Qualifications

This is a role for someone who has a service and commercial mindset. Key is a pro-active and flexible attitude with eye for details and stress proof. 2+ years of experience in supporting a Sales or Customer Service department would be great and helpful getting you up to speed. You have, at least:

  • Experience working successfully in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, stepping in wherever you're needed.
  • A degree in Marketing/ Economics will be considered an asset
  • Professional level English and Italian
  • Advanced MS Office skills
